Phoebe the Phoenix
The Weidner’s mobile stage (nicknamed Phoebe The Phoenix), is a symbol of creativity and outreach, taking the form of a flying phoenix when folded and on the move. While traveling to and from events, Phoebe’s collapsed stage mimics the graceful wings of a phoenix in flight. Once stationary, her wings open wide, transforming into a dynamic stage where performers share music, stories, and performances with audiences.
This mobile stage plays a vital role in advancing our mission to bring performing arts to everyone, everywhere. Phoebe serves as a platform for promoting and supporting local talent, giving emerging artists a chance to shine and enrich the cultural landscape. More importantly, she extends the reach of the Weidner, offering free, accessible performances to communities well beyond our building’s walls. Phoebe spreads the joy and inspiration of the arts with people all across Green Bay.
